How does laser hair removal work?

Laser hair removal works by permanently destroying targeted hair follicles and cutting off the blood supply to stop any regrowth.

Laser emits light that is then absorbed by the melanin in the hair. This then converts the light to energy which turns to heat. The heat will then target the hairs root beneath the skin. This will only work on hairs that are at the right specific growth stage. Therefore, this is why we recommend a course of minimum 6 sessions as around only 10% of your hairs are in the correct stage for the laser to permanently cut off the blood supply
